 Hey, Guys Today I will tell you How To Get Job For Beginners on Upwork. it is a simple guideline to help you start getting hired for easy jobs that require little to no experience. The simple process of searching. And  I will do a follow up with some easy categories of freelance jobs for beginners on Upwork, or if you're struggling to get work, this is a good step for you to take by reading this post and learning some of the categories that you can apply to that may be applicable to you. 

Write Articles

The first job category we are going to look at is newbie-friendly jobs. Now, these jobs are posted by clients that are willing to hire newbies to work on these particular jobs. And they actually indicate on the job postings newbies are welcome.

The client understands that you may be new to Upwork, but you're skilled enough to do the job. And here's a quick sample of a job posting. And this job posting was paying $250 to $350 per month for newbies to do rewrites for articles. and the pay is low, as this is a characteristic of newbie type of jobs. So basically this is an easy job that if you know how to write and you just want to get your foot into the door on Upwork, you can apply to and easily get hired.

Upload Videos

This second job category doesn't really require you to think a lot about the job postings. It's a no brainer type of job. And this involves things that you probably do every day that you don't think you can get paid to do them. For example, if you know how to download videos on YouTube, then you'd get clients saying that they need you to download YouTube videos and re-upload them to something like Dropbox. And this is a scenario that you'll always see on Upwork, or maybe the client is extremely busy and they don't want to dwell with such types of jobs. 

So basically what you can do is look for jobs that involve things that you do every single day, that don't require you to use a lot of mental strength--no brainer jobs, and you can easily get hired to do that if you look keenly.

 Now because you're going to be downloading high definition videos. and this is another easy job. If all you have is an internet connection and you're not getting hired for the jobs that you've been applying to,  They're highly competitive, but if you get them and you have a good fast internet connection, then chances are you'll be hired to do this job and at least get your foot into Upwork.

Locations Based Job

The next job category we are going to look at is the location-based type of jobs that you find on Upwork. Now, Upwork is a global marketplace where clients require services from different parts of the world and from different freelances. It's always best to have a profile that signifies where you are in the world. For example,  the client required a cameraman with equipment to film an interview in Nairobi.

 I'm in Nairobi, but unfortunately, I was not available to do this job, but luckily, a Kenyan who was in Nairobi or freelancer who was in Nairobi got this job because of their profile that showed that they in Nairobi. Therefore, if you're looking for an easy job, there are jobs that actually specific to particular regions. You'll find jobs posted by companies like Airbnb or travel companies that require people to go and do a survey of particular, maybe buildings or results or something so that they can recommend or give reviews to potential clients down the road. 

Language Related Jobs 

 Language related jobs are another job category that you can always look for easy jobs on Upwork. These jobs basically involve translating web content, translating subtitles, translating letters, and documents, et cetera. You can just look fora particular language.

 For example, if you look for maybe a dialect that you speak or that you know, or that you grew up knowing, and it needs particular translations, then you can look for jobs that need that type of translation. For example,  a job that required a Swahili to English translator of audio files.

 Now, the other particular thing with this particular job posting is that it is for all your interviews that were recorded in Tanzania. So if you're from Tanzania, it's very easy for you to get hired for this job, because you are particularly from that particular region. And basically, if you're from East Africa, that is Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, you can basically do some of these jobs that require translations of English to Swahili.

Video Editor

we have another job here, which is for a video editor who speaks Somali. If you speak Somali and I don't think there are many Somali video editors on Upwork, then getting hired for this job is very easy and it can also make you more money, especially if you're dealing with content that does not really have a lot of competition, especially for languages that are really a niche-specific or have very few people on the platform. So look out for language-related jobs to get hired easily on Upwork.

 

Website and application testing jobs

Website and application testing jobs are pretty common on Upwork and these are super, super easy jobs that you can do because all they do is that they involve either installing an application on your phone and testing out whether it's working, where you are. and, with our testing, if there's an issue with it and also things like website testing. Testing the functionality of a website.

Job Posting Job

So if you are the only one who was in Niger, then it would have been very, very easy to get this job posting and probably end up being a long term kind of engagement with a particular client. Resources based jobs basically involve you using your computer resources to do a particular job.

 For example, if you have a powerful laptop or a powerful computer with the latest processors, the highest amount of RAM that you can have, then some of these jobs that you'll see basically require your resources.

For example, the job posting that you see on the screen--requires somebody with adobe premiere pro. The client has already made all the necessary edits to the video, but all they need is somebody that can actually just export the particular video because their computer is fried and the end it's telling them that it's going to take about 17 hours to complete the export and they definitely need the job fast. 

This job is paying about $25, but due to the urgency, I actually think you can command a higher rate if you showed the client that you have the resources to do a particular job. and, these are, these are easy jobs.

 I recommend you can do on Upwork if you have the resources. So if you have the resources and see such jobs, at times there is no high competition for these jobs and you can make some good money and get quick feedback--positive feedback, and get started on your journey to getting these jobs more frequently. 

Country Restrictions Related  Jobs

 The final job category we are going to look at is a job category that I'd refer to us country restrictions related jobs. YouTube is banned in China. And if you have a client in China that recently attended a particular conference and made their videos recorded and posted on YouTube you'll find them at times, putting out a job posting on Upwork and saying, Hey, I'd like you to download videos for me, with the links to the videos, they probably say, they'll send you when they accept your application and they tell you that they need you to send through a particular file transfer service. 

Now, this is common on Upwork and you can always lookout for these types of jobs because a particular thing let's say YouTube is banned in China and all they need is the video sent to them. So if you can download the video from YouTube and send it to them via their preferred method of file transfer, then it's very, very easy for you to actually get hired for these types of jobs

. They are easy, they're quick, and they actually don't require you to show a portfolio of you being able to download and, maybe send people files, but they are easy jobs, and you can get these because this particular client is restricted by their location from accessing a particular website.

 So that's it. Those are some of the easy freelance jobs for beginners on Upwork. And it doesn't really matter whether you're new or whether you're going through a hard time getting hired. You can always try these job postings because sometimes they are the best jobs. Because of the other easiest and simplest jobs that you can get hired for.
