My 5 best tips on how to attract more clients and get more orders

     Hello Friends! I'm going to share my 5 best tips on how you can get more clients on Fiverr. Since most of our friends have already created their gigs on Fiverr, Unfortunately, I have read messages, my friends, I have signed up and created a gig through Fiverr but until now, no orders are coming in. I'm hopeful that I'll get an order soon." these are the frequent messages I'm receiving.

    I felt sad, though I was getting orders from clients on Fiverr. I wanted to share the things I've learned as well as on how I obtain orders from clients on Fiverr. I will share with you my 5 best tips on how to attract more clients and how to get more orders. Let's get started with our first tips.

How to increase orders on Fiverr

(1) Improve your keywords

  Improve your keywords on Fiverr. This depends on your Fiverr gig. Let me tell you, On the title, I put the keywords 'Marketing automation and Active Campaign' on the title bar, also in the description and keywords itself. I'm still thinking of eye-catching phrases to add to my title like, "I will create your converting-driven marketing automation", without Active Campaign.

 I changed it into something simple with a kick, "I will build your marketing automation in active campaign", so I made my keywords adjacent to each other. When we say keywords, it means people use this to search for information on the web.

 Most people search for What is an active campaign?  What is the active voice? Use keywords that will best represent your gig. If you're a Bookkeeper, What keywords are you going to use so clients can see your gig instantly? Is it Bookkeeping? Bookkeeper? Quickbooks? Think of the best keywords to describe your gig, and make sure that it will reflect on the title.

Let's go to the search tags, I've put 5 search tags like ActiveCampaign, Active Campaign, Email marketing because it's related to your skills, Email sequence, Marketing automation. We can only put up to 5 keywords on the search tags. Think of the keywords to best represent your gig.

(2) Improve your profile

The second tip is to improve your profile. Especially for beginners, what am I going to place on my gig if I don't have any work experience or even skills? I don't know anything about work-from-home, what am I going to do? I expect and understand that you have a lot of concerns especially you are beginners for this job. 

This is why we share guides and skills that you can practice here on our article so you can place something on your profile. For example, if you're looking for web research and data entry, if you are a beginner and that is what you want to learn, make sure to make samples. Practice that, if you have a laptop or a desktop, make sample research, and then take a screenshot to make it a portfolio on your profile. If you don't have a profile, you can create one using Microsoft Word, even with Canva Put all your samples for your profile references in case the client is asking for your resume. You may also present your sample works to them when that happens.

 You can show them your portfolio. You can also attach your portfolios to Fiverr. you can post up to 3 of your Gig photos in Fiverr, but once you have ordered, it will automatically post on your gallery. Those are the screenshots that you send your clients, every time you deliver an order, you will take a screenshot and send it to the client as well.

(3) Promote your gig

Take screenshots of your sample works and then attach it to your profile. You have to create your profile, you have to out information and optimize your profile. Promote your gig. That is one of those tips that help me the most. No matter how good your Fiverr gig is, if it can't be seen, or even searchable on Fiverr, and they can't seem to find your profile plus, no orders are coming in. So, how can they notice your profile?

 After optimizing your profile, you've listed your sample works, you've used striking keywords, then, it's time for you to promote. You can share the link of your gig on your social media accounts like Facebook, LinkedIn... though you cannot share it on Upwork. You can include it on your resume, If you're going to create one in Canva or through Microsoft Word, all you need to do is attach your link on your resume. 

How to get your link?  Click the drop-down arrow on your gig, and then click on Share... You can just copy the link, afterward, you can post it on your Facebook group or Facebook page, even in your personal Facebook account, so you can promote it with your family and friends.  In that way, there might be a chance that someone will check out your gig, so when they click on the link to your profile, Fiverr will begin to notice due to the number of clicks. which means your profile has been checked a lot of times. 

You can also post it if you have a LinkedIn account, I also added a description of my Fiverr gig, including the services that I offer to imply that I am the one you need on the service that I provide. Since I'm offering Marketing automation, "I'm a Marketing automation strategist, and this is my profile, these are my sample works, and this is the link if you want to check out my profile through other platforms..." I firmly describe my skills as a marketing automation strategist. It should reflect your personality.

 

(4) Attract Clients

The fourth tip on how to attract and get more clients on Fiverr Offer a call immediately. How will you do that? With Fiverr, you shouldn't offer your services just by sending your Skype ID, even your email address. I use Zoom when I offer a call to clients Sometimes it's hard for us to understand if we chat during our meetings, You can also apply this with Upwork.

 This is very useful to me, You're not the only one the client talks to, There will be bidding so they also talk to other sellers on Fiverr. So, if the client has divided attention, there's a bigger chance that he'll get distracted, he might not order from you and instead, he might perhaps be convinced with other sellers.

 So I always ask them, "Would you like to have a call instead?" "Can I call you?" When he says, "Yes," then, I will send a Zoom link so we can have a conference in an instant. In that way, he will only focus on our conversation, and most of the time, I get what I want! He orders from me. I did the same thing with Upwork.

 The client told me, "I'm still talking with someone else, I'm also asking him the same thing I asked you, I'm still checking who will be my best choice..." Then, I told him, "Let me call you now." So I send a Zoom link, You are not allowed to send a Skype ID, even your email address.

 You must not do it with Fiverr and Upwork. But you can offer a Zoom link. With Upwork, I think there's a way that you can have the option to call the client. Fiverr doesn't have that option yet so I offer a Zoom link and then we can make a call immediately. In that way, the client won't be distracted, he will only talk and listen to me.

(5) How to get More client

Anyway, let's go to our last and fifth-best tip on how to get and attract more clients, Improve your cover photo. I've posted that on our Facebook page and group, Like what I've told you earlier, you will share your gig with your circle of friends in social media, It should be attractive especially when you share it on Fiverr so you can attract more clients. 

How do you do that?  At first, I have attracted clients, then I tried to do something to draw more attention, How can you attract clients if your image doesn't look appealing, I zoom it out to make it a bit smaller, Let's say, you have a mobile phone. You will notice that almost all the sellers use the color blue, with all of their sample works.

 So, I change mine to a different color. I'm the only one with red color with matching yellow color as my background. I didn't use any branding colors. I just want to draw attention. I posted my picture, with the words, "Let me help you..." Plus the service that I offer in this gig.

 which is Active Campaign. It says, "Professional Active Campaign service, Let me help you..." with my picture and a beaming red color! Even if it's zoomed out, there's still a bigger chance that sellers can notice my gig because of my eye-catching cover photo.
